To Founded in 1993, Metro Specialist Hospital was the first private hospital in Sungai Petani. The hospital was initially known as Bersatu Medical Centre and in 1996 it was rename Metro Specialist Hospital and was officially opened by the then Minister of health Dato' Chua Jui Meng. Currently the hospital has 120 beds with 24 highly experienced Specialists, 3 Medical Officers and supported by a team of dedicated nurses and allied health staff. At Metro Specialist Hospital we offer a wide range of services complimented with advance medical equipment and technology which include the latest High Power Holmium Laser, ESWL, MRI, CT Scan, Interventional Cardiac Lab and in house laboratory upgraded with modern technology including Biofire FilmArray Multiplex PCR test.
