(CRAUN), a Sarawak government-owned company, was specifically set up to undertake Research and Development (R&D) activities on sago and other underutilized crops with commercial potential. Established in 1993 and corporatized in 1997, CRAUN was entrusted with a clear mandate to spearhead R&D efforts in the sago crop and sago industry within Sarawak.
