With a keen eye for new opportunity in interior design, construction and F&B fields, Ahmad Irwan has had over 15 years of business management experience and has successfully grown his start up from 3 staffs to 50 staffs in 2021. In 2006, Ahmad Irwan founded Deco Houze, the most prestigious interior design company in Kedah that is passionate in attaining the highest level of achievement in producing memorable, highly defined interiors which deeply reflect the client’s own personal history. From interior design and construction company, he expanded his talent and skills in managing a business to a F&B business, which is now the leading steak house restaurant in northern region that is called The Place.
Born in 1980 and raised in Alor Setar, Kedah, Ahmad Irwan graduated with a Diploma TESL from UKM in 2000. As a son of carpet shop’s owner, his childhood memories were full of furnishings products, such as carpet, blind, vinyl, wallpaper and curtain. However at the age of 24 years old, he decided to take a leap of faith by starting his own start up. All the hard work and sacrifices paid off when he succeeded in making Deco Houze and The Place as the top leader in its own industry and has helped providing the best product especially in Northern region of Malaysia.
A risk taker, dedicated and a humble man, his characters are inspired many around him. His life motto is “Live by helping others” has helped countless of people in achieving their wildest dream and discover their hidden talent.
