Incorporated in 1960, it started as a waste collection centre has today grown to become the regional leader in industrial hazardous waste with Environmentally Sound Management (ESM) facility, promoting closed-loop recycling. The Shan Poornam Group of Companies comprise of seven independently-run entities located across Malaysia. Shan Poornam Group of Companies is an associate company of Cenviro, which Khazanah Nasional wholly owns. The Group has a total land space of 386,000 sq ft with a total investment of over RM131million and over 600 well trained employees. Shan Poornam is the 1st Prescribed Premise licensed by DOE to manage metal chips and articles contaminated with spent coolant under Schedule Waste Code 422.
