LOTUS ESSENTIAL SDN BHD was incorporated in 2005 as a trading company. The Company started with importing and distribution tapioca, corn, wheat and coal to the local food processing and manufacturing based companies.
Lotus Essential Sdn Bhd imports a wide range of tapioca, corn and wheat from Thailand, Vietnam, China, Indonesia and Australia and are subjected to stringent quality checks by independent laboratory analysis.
Lotus Essential also imports mainly from Indonesia and distributes industrial coal of low ash, low Sulphur content with high calorific value for the local industrial user in the production of steam and energy. The Company utilizes a highly efficient computerized Logistics Planning System to provide accurate and timely delivery of orders to customers at the shortest possible notice.
In the year 2016. Lotus Essential acquired four (4) recycling companies and one (1) paper roll rewinding services company to establish a Recycling Division. The Division has seven (7) factories - Pajam; Gombak; Kapar; Subang; Shah Alam; Kajang; and Kempas Johor, providing a variety of services for cost effective removal, collection and recovery of commercial, industrial, office and residential recyclables. Suppliers range from private multinational chain stores to governmental municipal councils.
