Sapura Technics is a dynamic and forward looking aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services company for narrow body commercial aircraft located in Senai International Airport, Johor, Malaysia. Sapura Technics provides commercial aircraft MRO services providing line and base maintenance for Boeing B737 series and Airbus A320 family aircraft types.
The management team of Sapura Technics is spearheaded by personnel with over 20 years’ experience in the airline and MRO industry.
On 29th October 2018, Mercu Sapura Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sapura Resources Berhad entered into a Joint Venture and Shareholders Agreement with Dilog Training & Services Sdn Bhd to form an aircraft MRO services company for narrow body commercial aircraft in Senai, Johor, Malaysia. Following the joint venture agreement, Sapura Technics Sdn Bhd was formally formed on 12th December 2018.
Sapura Technics has obtained its first Part 145 provisional approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) on 29th November 2019 followed by full approval on 5th February 2020.
