We are a registered CIDB G7 Building & Civil Contractor with BS EN ISO 9001:2008 accreditation, whose services include Building & Civil Contracts & Construction, Mechanical & Electrical Contracts & Construction, Infrastructure Projects and Project Management.

Our technical knowledge and extensive experience working with formwork systems and construction methods give us a distinct advantage over our competitors. Under the direction of our dedicated management team, these skills, have allowed us to successfully complete and deliver scores of prestigious commercial, residential and retail projects.

Company Directors

MR. YONG KOK SHIANG  Managing Director
Diploma in Building

Mr. Yong, aged 65, is the Company’s founder. After completing his degree at Singapore Polytechnic in 1974, he began his career as a Quantity Surveyor for Pakatan International.

Having gained valuable experience at Pakatan International, Mr. Yong accepted a position with the American firm Airways Engineering Corporation at their Kuala Lumpur office. He later joined Low Keng Huat Berhad, where he was involved with post-contract work on major projects such as the Sabah Foundation & Tun Fuad Building in Sabah.

As a promising young executive with valuable Construction Management and Property Development & Management experience acquired while with Low Keng Huat Berhad in their Sabah and Kuala Lumpur Offices, Mr. Yong was promoted to Project Manager in 1983.

Armed with his wealth of Building & Property Management experience, Mr. Yong, along with his colleague Mr. Chong Mong Tet, founded Alphazen Contract Sdn Bhd.in 1996.

MR. CHONG MONG TET (PHILIP)  Executive Director

Alphazen Contract’s co-founder Mr. Chong, aged 56, has more than 30 years direct experience as Project Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager.

His earlier association with Japanese multinational construction company Sato Amoy (Sato Koyo) provided him with extensive building & construction industry experience. Mr. Chong is an integral part of the team involved with the Japanese Embassy and UKM Campus projects in Bangi.

Mr. Chong’s desire for further knowledge and experience in Contract Management resulted in his joining Low Keng Huat Behad. While there, he became deeply involved with Pre- and Post-Contract work for major projects such as the Ampang City Comprehensive Development, Utama Shopping Complex and Johor Bahru City Hall Indoor & Hockey Stadium and several multi-housing projects.

Mr. Chong’s passion for Building & Construction work exists to this day. He continues to spearhead most Alphazen projects, including construction of the Bukit Jalil Calvary Convention Centre, where he is the lead Project Director.
