The introduction of our Total Facilities Maintenance concept has raised our organization to a higher platform in the industry. THE FOUNDER
Haji Othman Sulong, the Founder and Executive Chairman of Service Master (M) Sdn Bhd. Haji Othman previously served as the Head of Training Department in Carrier (M) since 1983. When Carrier decided to open their branch in Kerteh, he was assigned to lead the team and subsequently appointed as the Branch Superintendant to monitor the maintenance of the Petronas’s refinery. His great achievement is when he was appointed as a Project Manager in Brunei to monitor the maintenance of the Shell’s refinery and oil rig there.
In the early 1989, Haji Othman started his own brand, Service Master (M) Sdn Bhd by providing professional maintenance and engineering services. His experience in maintaining the air conditioning system in the Petronas refinery in Kerteh and Brunei has become the key factor to him and Service Master to gain the customer’s trust in providing the Mechanical & Electrical engineering works.
His vision was tremendously ahead when he started a new venture with a Lift & Escalator supplier. Through out this great venture, Service Master has been awarded with the PKK license to supply and carry out the installation for lift & escalator. He also sets Service Master as one of the pioneer in the Facilities Maintenance Management.
Haji Othman was the President of Malaysia Air Conditioning & Refrigerant Association (MACRA) for two terms and was among the Board of Examiners of MLVK and has been appointed as a ‘Country Expert’ in air conditioning by Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR). Haji Othman is also the Committee Member for Construction Industry Skill Standard for CIDB and a Council Member of Facility Management of Malaysia.

With more than 20 years, Service Master has stayed as the major player in the Mechanical & Electrical industry as well as the pioneer in the Total Facilities Maintenance Management (TFM).
