From a humble beginning, Thomson Furniture was first established in 1985 collaborating with a Singapore manufacturer. The company has then been running independently by local management since 1989. Ever since its establishment, Thomson Furniture has sourced its products from around the world with prime focus on quality and design.

With more than a quarter century presence in the market, Thomson Furniture has now become a household name for quality boutique furniture at affordable prices in the country. To date, Thomson Furniture has two showrooms; each highlighting different varieties of furniture- from upmarket pieces to affordable furniture, classics to contemporary designs. As the pioneer in this industry, we strive to shape Brunei’s furniture culture.

Thomson Furniture was one of the first few that imported quality sofas and casegoods back in the 80’s. Over the years, we have developed a passion to source for quality designs around the world. This passion soon defined our mission- to allow Bruneians to experience top international designs without having to travel overseas. Tried and tested, our products are meant to fit in perfectly with the Bruneian weather, pricing and spatial design.

With our acquired international web of connections, Thomson Furniture today carries international brands such as Saporini Italia, KingKoil, Kuka, Scanteak, Ashley Furniture, Commune, Edimass, LaForma and many others.
